Last Day of School

Today is the last day of school for L-S. This week has been jam packed full of class picnics, a visit from a nature preserve, bringing boatloads of school supplies home, etc.

Miles is finishing 5th grade. 6th grade is the big jump to middle school: multiple teachers, lockers, etc.

Marcus is finishing 3rd grade. He's going to have a big adjustment too. 4th grade is over by the middle school. He's spent the last 3 years in the K-3 wing. His 1-1 aide is retiring, so he'll have a new one (though he already knows her). He'll also have a locker, he's very excited about that.

Mackenzie is finishing Kindergarten. My last baby to do this. It's a little bittersweet. Next year will also be a change for her, no more nap/quiet times and no more free play. ::sigh:: The woes of a 6 year old. :)

We took some pictures at Miles & Marcus' class picnics and I took some of Mackenzie and her teachers, those too will be coming soon.
