It's official
After much prayer and discussion we have decided to change Marcus' enrollment at the public school to full time. He made it through Kindergarten at the christian school full time. During 1st grade he was dually enrolled, he spent the morning at the PS and the afternoons at the christian school. When second grade started there were a lot of changes being made at the christian school. They combined the kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. He continued last years routine when 2nd grade started, but it wasn't working. We then decided to have him spend all day Tues & Thurs at the public school, as these are days the schedule at the christian school was most difficult for him. The transition went perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better adjustment. This had us thinking about full time at the public school. As he's falling further and further behind his christian school classmates and with the new combined class size, we've realized he can't be successfull there. Monte and I have accepted the fact that he needs more special education services, and our local public school can provide that. Pray that he adapts well to not going to SCS.

It's so hard to make decisions regarding our kids...we just have to hope and pray we make the right choices...best of luck to Marcus and to all of you! Carla
Hi Dorian! Sorry I haven't been here in a while. This must have been a tough decision, but sounds like you made a really wise choice. So, what is milk nog like? Less eggy? I am assuming that I won't be able to find this product in Atlanta :)
