As you probably know from our previous post, we recently adopted a chocolate lab from Heartland Humane Society in Ottumwa. We think we may now know why somebody brought him in. He is epileptic and has seizures. He's such a good dog therefore we have decided to keep him anyway even though his medication is quite expensive. Since going on the medication Wednesday he has not had another seizure (that we know of). The vet said that there is not much we can do when he is having a seizure other than hold his head to keep it from hitting things. Hopefully this will be rare and we will be home to help him through it.
Dorian is now looking for 2 kittens.....the saga goes on.....lol
