Out of the mouths of babes

I need to preface this story with a piece of family information, for my friends who might not know. My stepmothers name is Mary. She and my Dad have been married for 7 years...I think. Sorry, my memory is a little off today. My kids know my Dad as Grandpa, Monte's Dad is Papa.

My MIL has been getting her Christmas decorations out. She has this cute 'egg' decoration, you know where you take the middle apart and there is a smaller egg inside, then a smaller inside that, etc. The first egg is Joseph, then Mary, then Jesus, then some small animals. We've been teaching Mackenzie the story of Joseph and Mary and baby Jesus. Yesterday, my MIL was going through the pieces, asking her who each person was. She says to Mackenzie, "If this is Mary, then who is this (points to Joseph)." Mackenzie's response, "Grandpa." We all got quite a good chuckle out of that.
